A Day in VancouverFrom Andrew Tang (’65)

“Early in the morning John and Amy picked us up at the waterfront SkyTrain station. The day was started with ping pong exercise at the private club house of Mack's. Mack, Stephen, John and Amy are good players of the game. After exercising and much sweating, James and every one of us went for dim sum nearby.

To kill the time in between lunch and dinner time, James, Catherine and I went to Mack's mansion to chat and share our experience and with classmates, what a treasured moment we have.

Mack has selected the Ningbo Seafood, a very good restaurant to dine with, with delicious dishes of chicken, duck, crab, lobster, mushrooms, beans, and dumpling desert. Hilary and Judy arrived early with his selection of wine to pair with the choice of food; and Bonbon and Margaret brought another bottle from his cellar. The dinner was complemented with the black sesame seed paste dumplings with Osmanthus.

Per doctor's advice, you can drink your wine daily with no reservation, a week's quota at a time. After dinner, Hilary and Judy took us back to our friends' place in Richmond. We are very much appreciated with our classmates in Vancouver.

Herewith are some photos taken on the day.”
