In this event, Professor Emeritus Andrew Parkin will share with the audience his long and celebrated career across the continents, punctuating various moments with his poetic creations that feature subjects from the Kowloon Walled City to the Tolo Harbour overlooked by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Having taught at the English Department of the University of British Columbia and helped facilitate the cultural exchange between Hong Kong and Canada for decades as a Professor of English at CUHK, Prof. Parkin is a living testimony to the rich interrelations between the two places.
