On the occasion of Joseph Chu’s visit to Hong Kong, Gilbert Tsui shouted “fall in!” and a few of us managed to get together for a happy night at Hyatt Regency, Shatin, on October 28, 2010. Old timers returning overseas have always been good pretext for these get-togethers for otherwise too-busy people. On the night, lots of reminiscences of past gaiety were swapped, bringing alive things that happened over 30 years ago!
From left to right are:
Fok Man Wah (74), now a lab technician with the HK University of Science and Technology. Appeared on TV news just the week before, describing how he tried to rescue a victim of a wind surfing accident. The 11th Kowloon Group spirit still shows after all these years!
Joseph Tse (76), a Queen’s Scout, now a solicitor with Allen and Overy.
Peter Lo (68), a Queen’s Scout, now with Deutsche Bank.
Joseph Chu (70), Troop Leader, now a Neurologist in Toronto, visiting Hong Kong.
Gilbert Tsui, graduate of 1973, now a controller with Fugro.
Charles Chan (73), now an engineer with KL Consulting Engineers.
Harry Gieuw (74), now a freelance artist.
Philip Mak (74), now a vet with his own practice.
