“Hong Kong: Asia’s World City” Roving Exhibition

The Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library will host “Hong Kong: Asia’s World City” Roving Exhibition from June 18 to 22, 2018. Produced by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto), this exhibition showcases Hong Kong’s achievements in areas such as economic development, green living, education, innovation and technology, transport and infrastructure, and arts and culture, as well as the beauty of its natural environment.

As one of the world’s three most important financial centres along with London and New York, about 40 percent of the island is designated as parkland or conservation areas. Hong Kong is also a cultural centre, hosting more than 8,600 performances each year. This exhibit thus offers a chance for the Canadian public to learn more about Hong Kong, especially some little-known facts about Asia’s world city.
