David 葉志鵬 passed away peacefully on June 6, 2016 in St Teresa hospital Hong Kong with his family members by his side.
Our condolences to his family.
Funeral ceremony is planned at :
11 am to 1 pm. June 17, Friday.
Tommy Yam writes, "Whether you know David personally or not, you cannot miss David's presence in Wah Yan. He was gregarious, a big boy for his age whose booming voice can be heard from afar when he blocked footballs coming at him as the goal keeper for the school team. He was friendly to all but did not hesitate to flex his muscle if necessary. He was a top student who went on to receive his medical degree from Hong Kong University. He served the people of Hong Kong by becoming a senior officer in forensic pathology for the Hong Kong medical authority before he retired. You will never get tired of his telling you his experience participating in the autopsy of Bruce Lee and the analysis on the cause of his death. He clearly and emphatically dispelled the myriads of conspiracy theory.
David lived quietly in Hong Kong in retirement with occasional gathering with classmates in Hong Kong over dinner engaging in conversation on many subjects and some time heated debates. Like in his Wah Yan days, David was never shy of expressing and defending strong and some time controversial opinions. Many of you had a chance to meet him for the first and unfortunately last time after Wah Yan during our 50th reunion three years ago in the American Club.
We will present a floral tribute for our class.
Please join us in a prayer of our dear classmate."
