It was Mr C K Wong who urged the head teacher of Fuk Wing St Government Primary School to start a scout group. She OKed it and it came into being. Three Wah Yan boys Thomas Tam, Yam Kai Sun 任啓新, and I joined as leaders., For me and Thomas it was a return to the fold of Scouting like the lost sheep. To me personally, it was a turning point in my life. Its principles and ways have become mine in everything I did and do.
Mr Wong had just passed away at the age of 101!
