From WYKPSA,
"This year, we have a fund-raising campaign for Fr. Kelly Educational Fund Ltd., which appropriates more than HK$1.5 million for sponsoring student activities of Wah Yan College, Kowloon each year, including scholarships, music tours, sports training, exchange programmes and pastoral activities, to name but a few. In order to sustain the sponsorship for the next five years, donations from our stakeholders are indispensable and make a difference.
The first fund-raising event is the long-awaited Homecoming Concert, which will be held in the hall on the coming Saturday, 8th October, 2016. The Students' Association will organize a Fun Fair for everyone to enjoy and cherish on 11th February, 2017. We will also offer naming rights of school facilities, i.e. the Hall, Canteen, Common Room, Geography Room, History Room and respective classrooms, to honour benefactors for their unfailing support. Furthermore, the Wall of Shields will be relaunched for our sponsors to name the shields after their beloved ones.
We need donations and support for the betterment of Wah Yan and our students. Please click here for the letter of the Fund-raising Campaign."

From Fr. Stephen Chow, S.J., Supervisor of both Wah Yans,
"My dear fellow Alumni,
Before the official beginning of the summer break, I would like to take the opportunity to express, on the school’s behalf, our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. George Tam for his tireless efforts in bringing the SDP to its fruitful completion. In the two years since his official retirement as principal of our School, our new School Hall has completed its construction, we have been enjoying its great facilities, and Mr. Tam has secured a handsome maintenance fund for the Hall.
After July 2015, Mr. Tam will have completed his final official role as a Special Adviser of the School. But he will continue to enjoy his honorary title as ‘Principal Emeritus’ of the School, which was given to him upon his retirement as principal. Mr. Tam will also be moving out of his current office shortly after July. However, we can expect to see his friendly face and enjoy his hallmark laughs on our campus and during our functions long after this month."
