Cross Canada coast to coast Day 11, June 10, 2014.
Huntsville to Toronto
Everybody left early this morning. I got a big hug from each of the Mortons before I left. Then I drove around the town of Huntsville. I was told that the regular population of the town is about 20,000, and in the summer time it swells to 100,000. That really stresses the medical staffing. The MDs instead of enjoying the summer beauty of this vacation spot, have to work extra.
The ride to Toronto was uneventful. Some people were forewarning me about the 4 - 6 lanes on the highway that could be very intimidating. I just kept the focus to the front and kept a constant speed. No problem.
I spent the afternoon with Grace and the new grandson, Oliver. It was great. Oliver "talked" to me for a long time. He is now about 10 weeks old. In the evening, the daughters and son-in-laws treated me to a pre-Father's Day dinner and a gift. It was a love-in. What better way to share the love.
I am spending the night at Howard/Louisa Mui.
It is hot, by Vancouver and the previous 10 days standard, that it is 23C when I was riding back after dinner at about 9 pm.
