Cross Canada coast to coast Day 13. June 12, 2014.
In GTA.
I am trying to wait out the rain storm by staying in Mississauga for an extra day. It is not a bad idea at all. I was able to sleep in, and felt normal again.
I was able to clean the motorcycle, (from here on, I will refer it as the bike), taking measurements of the dimensions, just in case I need to ship/tow it somewhere.
Most of all, I spent many hours pouring over the map trying to figure out my route for the next 3 days. The very much added factor was the rain storm for the next 2 days.
The alternatives :
1. Stay in GTA for 2 more days.
2. Do short rainy rides to Ottawa and Quebec City in 2 days.
3. Brace the same rain and do longer rides to Drummondville and Fredericton in 2 days.
My purpose is to ride to Cape Breton, NS, for my coast to coast ride. So I am tending to choose alternative 3. Then, I will take my time doing my westbound trip in leisure, plus visiting Quebec City on the way back.
We had a nice dinner with my grandson and family.
