Cross-Canada coast to coast   Day 22, June 21, 2014.

Quebec City to Ottawa.

I woke up at the Maritime zone, :-(.  It was 6 am local time. I was already riding my motorcycle in Old Quebec City by 7 am. The weather was sunny and good. The garbage had been collected. The streets had just been washed. The side walk cafe/restaurants were nicely arranged. There was no tourists and no traffic at all. I was able to slowly putter around the narrow streets, up and down the hills, looking down at the dock with the cruise ships, looking up at the hill at those magnificent buildings. It was great. But the wet cobblestone streets were dangerous to ride a bike on. The riverside and the parks were great. All and all, I have fulfilled my 3rd mission.

The ride to Ottawa was very hot, 26C when I arrived at YaoGuo/Helen Chan's (WYK65) house. They are very hospitable. Shower, beer, ice cream and fruit surely brought the spirits back. Chatting a lot tonight, being treated to a delicious French dinner ( frog legs and duck breast ). Also been treated to a sunset car ride tour in Ottawa/Gatineau area.

To deal with the heat, I poured water inside my jacket to get my T-shirt wet, then it acts like air conditioning when the bike is in motion.

I forgot it is Saturday, lots of activities at the fast food places where most kids were there. Tomorrow supposedly there is going to be a pride parade in Toronto.

Another very happy day.
