One on cruise trip and one on land tour, Jeff/Elaine ran into David/Cathy again at Split. 萬哩再相逢,這是緣。
Jeff and Elaine Mah, Our President and First Lady, ran into David and Cathy Wong, our Immediate Past President and First Lady, at Brussel Airport on May 2nd, when it was partially opened the first time after the March 22 Attack. They were on their way to continue their separate European tours.
(2004~2006) President Kelvin Ng Ka-min ('95) with his family is home for Christmas with his parents. Kelvin has been working at Volvo Trucks in Tianjin, China since leaving Toronto. He had morning coffee with Mr. Ho on Saturday, December 20.
There will be an early dim-sum lunch with his family on Wednesday, December 24, at 11:00 am, at Prince of Seafood Restaurant, 240 Alton Towers Circle at McCowan, south of Steeles, Scarborough.

Andrew Tang, our Secretary, met with the new WYK Principal Warren Chung in October, presenting a cheque of WYKAAO’s donation to the Fr. Kelly Educational Fund (receipt).
The first meeting to plan the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of 11th Kowloon Group was held on September 5th, 2013 . The minutes are in the More/Forum/11th Kowloon Group 80th Anniversary. Former scouts who are interested can sign in to join the discussion.
Our founding president, Raymond Kwong (66), current president Jeff Mah (78) and Mr. Anthony Ho were recently interviewed in a Canadian Chinese Radio 華語電台 radio show hosted by Lena Wong. This year the Honoured Classes are 1953 (60th Anniversary), 1963 (50th), 1973 (40th), 1983 (30th), 1988 (25th), 1993 (20th) and 2003 (10th). According to the tradition of WYKAAO, graduates of these years will be presented an Honorary Certificate from WYKAAO. This will take place at the dinner on Saturday, October 19, 2013.

Wah Yan College Kowloon Alumni Association of Ontario Scholastic Achievement Award is worth Cdn$100 each. The Award is open to students whose aggregate total of their best six Grade 12 credits gained in 2012~2013 academic year is 480 or over and who have begun their post-secondary education in September, 2013. Applicants must be the wards/children/grandchildren of current paid-up members of WYKAAO.
