A number of members from WYKAAO attended the Chinese Canadian Legend Award Gala organized by The Asian Business Network Association on Saturday Nov 9th. The Honourable Philip Lee, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, was one of the guests of honour to present the awards. Click here to see more pictures.

【明報專訊】香港7間大專院校的安省校友會近年的聯繫日益緊密﹐周日聯合舉辦和參與了一場激烈的羽毛球友誼賽﹐理工大學掄元﹐勇奪由香港駐多倫多經濟貿易辦事處贊助的「香港盃」﹐中文大學和香港大學分別獲得亞軍和季軍。
香港駐多倫多經濟貿易辦事處處長盧潔瑋在友誼賽後的頒獎禮上表示﹐很高興參與和贊助安省香港專上校友會聯會2013年「香港盃」羽毛球友誼賽。
她還鼓勵各大專院校校友多回香港經商﹑探親﹑旅遊﹑消費﹐或從香港到中國旅遊﹐以及支持經貿處的活動。她透露﹐在今年11月將有香港學者訪問多倫多﹐與香港基本法有關﹐另有投資與經貿講座。
盧處長是中大校友﹐剛完成加西的推廣活動﹐周五才返抵多倫多。
安省香港專上校友會聯會會長黎勝堅表示﹐友誼賽在Machi羽毛球會舉行﹐逾200名校友參與。在總球證和14名球證協助﹐以及8名隊長和88名校友球員配合下﹐順利完成總共100場不同的雙淘汰比賽。他續稱﹐籌辦比賽的理工大學校友多次尋覓較新和專業的場地﹐盡量讓球員安全地全面發揮球技﹐最後揀選了有防滑和軟墊的Machi羽毛球會。
黎會長還表示﹐在頒獎禮上﹐各大專院校均有精彩歌唱表演﹐由個人到全體合唱﹐團隊精神表露無遺。
7大包括香港浸會大學﹑香港中文大學﹑香港大學﹑香港理工大學﹑香港樹仁大學﹑嶺南大學及珠海學院。

決選階段（2013年10月中旬至11月中旬）：
決選階段將由評委及全港市民從30名入圍者中選出最具代表的「感動香港」人物。
Congrats to WYKAAO Team A (David Ho, Mike Yam, Allan Lee, Michael Luk) for winning the new Alumni Cup in the New Horizon Lions Club 5th Charity Table Tennis tournament at MTTC today.
First runner-up (which we beat 3-0) is Cheung Chuk Shan College Alumni with two OTTA high ranked players, 2nd runner-up is last year's champion Ying Wa College Old Boys Association with a huge support group.
Like last year, WYKAAO will enter the charity table tennis tournament organized by Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club at My Table Tennis Club (Markham). We will participate in the Inter-School Alumni category with matches on Sunday Sept 22. Net proceeds will go to support Markham YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign.
