Jesuits
Fr. Chow recently presented the global vision of Jesuits on education. He is also appealing to form an Education Fraternity.
"I would like to repeat here what I have tried to express at the session this evening. The Jesuits, the two Wah Yans and I are most grateful for your attendance at this evening's session. As Raymond has rightly said, you guys came to the session because you have 'com-passion', i.e., your passion for and with Wah Yan as well as Jesuit education. I also know from this evening that the Jesuits can count on your committed assistance to work with us to promote the values/spirit of Jesuit education such as 'Human Excellence'.
Setting up the Education Fraternity by the respective PSAs is a desirable move for us to promote Jesuit education not just to the two Wah Yans but to other schools through our alumni educators. Together we can find a stronger and collective voice through the education fraternities to speak up for the betterment of education in Hong Kong, and hopefully in China and beyond. I want to share this vision with our legal, medical, and financial fraternities so that they can contribute positively and synergistically.
Please find from this document the presentation that I have used for the presentation of Human Excellence for your reference and continual reflection. I look forward to sharing more on our education with you down the road as well as to working with you on the promotion of Jesuit education in our community!"
