WYK alumnus Eric Li ('95) and Irene Chen got married on December 23, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Eric is currently our Marketing Director and is pursuing his doctoral degree at Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto. Congratulations to Irene & Eric!
Our dear classmate Patrick Li Sai-cheong 李世昌[Class of '75] passed away on March 4, 2009 in Hong Kong after a brief battle with liver cancer. He is survived by his wife Daphne. After graduation from Wah Yan, Patrick attended Mankato State University, (now part of University of Minnesota) and had lived in Australia for an extended period of time before returning to Hong Kong in the late 1990s.
During his battle with cancer, classmates James Wong and Kipling Chang in Hong Kong had been providing a lot of personal assistance.

The 2009 Spring Banquet was successfully held At the Century Palace Restaurant on 28 March with 8 tables of guests. We welcomed many new faces and Wahyanites from Ottawa and Buffalo, New York. Pictures of the function can now be viewed here.
On February 20, 2009, we were invited by Tim Kwan (1967) to tour the Mon Sheong Court at McNicoll/Kennedy, Scarborough, a recent project of the Mon Sheong Foundation. Tim, a past President of the Foundation, was involved in the project. While we were being shown the facilities designed for senior living by the property manager, Tim put on the hat of the chef and was busy preparing lunch for us in the new kitchen of dining room. At the end of the tour, lunch was ready in the family banquet room. We had fresh green salad, delicious pasta topped up with scallop and slices of sausages, served with red wine. To complement a delightful lunch, John Kan (1967) brought us fresh pastries from a bakery where line-up was customary. – aho

Wah Yan International Conference 2008 was successfully held in Hong Kong on 15 ~ 16 November. WYKAAO's representative was our past president Francis Kwong. IC2008 pictures can now be viewed on the WYK iBank Photo Album. IC2010 will be hosted by the Southern California Chapter in Los Angeles.
