Here are two poems with English rendition to describle the occaion.
On 14 February 2016 the Hong Kong Joint Schools Alumni Association celebrated this year's Valentine Day and 人日, the 7th day of the lunar new year with a bang. Close to 450 guests attended this event at Le Parc Banquet and Dining Centre. The 1st Valentine Ball was held on 14 February 1987, making the current ball our 30th. WYKAAO after a few years of absence, rejoined the ball with 9 tables of guests. Sumptuous food was served while guests enjoyed the performance of Spire Fusion Music Group, joint schools alumni performance, including singing by WYKAAO's Iggy Kam ('64) and dancing to the music of the Parliament Music Group. On January 27, 2016, three officials of the Education Bureau of Beijing, accompanied by EB of HK, visited WYK to understand the music education in HK. The visitors were greatly impressed by the school choir, symphony orchestra and string quartet, "這裡的學生好像有一道氣,表現都是謙謙君子,在中國好像沒有全男生的中學,很難得。"
