Your involvement and the leadership of Team WYKAAO have inspired both your teammates and all your friends at The Terry Fox Foundation! As a grassroots organization, we rely 100% on the efforts of dedicated individuals like you whose efforts keep Terry’s dream alive. This past year alone, Terry Fox funding exceeded $10 million for cancer research in Ontario. Your involvement this year will help ensure many vital projects continue to receive funding in the years to come – and for this we cannot thank you enough.
We hope you feel as proud as we do on this incredible day. Your involvement this year will give patients hope for a healthy future.
Ultimately, that is Terry’s legacy, a legacy of hope.

WYKAAO will once again participate in the Terry Fox Run this year (Sunday, Sept 17). The run site chosen is our favourite Markham-Unionville location, a major part of the route inside the Toogood Pond Park with breath-taking scenery (1km-route map, 5/10km-route map).
For a number of years, we have been proudly supporting The Terry Fox Foundation in its ongoing work to fund innovative and progressive cancer research programs. Please support our team by joining, or making a donation. Your kindness will impact the lives of so many people living with cancer.
New Horizon Lions Club is holding its 8th Annual Charity Tournament in May 2017. We sent a team to participate in the ‘Community’ category and came second (out of 12 teams) in the final that was held on Sunday May 7. Well done Team WYKAAO! Click here to see more pictures taken in the tournament.
