2014-11-16 Updates (from Sam Yu, Chairman of WYKPSA)
Our Anniversaries Gratitude Dinner will be held in less than 3 weeks. However, we have less than 30 tables reserved so far. No doubt, it is quite disappointing as the Gratitude Dinner is meant to (1) celebrate our Alma Mater’s 90th Birthday and (2) raise funding for WYOFF to sustain its small class teaching and students & staff continuous development.
The lesser participants enrolled into the Gratitude Dinner, the lesser money will be raised and accordingly, it will cause a lot of inconvenience and difficulties for implementing small class teaching effectively and smoothly. Further, it will be very hard for WYOFF to provide job security for our existing teachers who are on contract basis.
As a result, I would like to appeal you to enroll into the Gratitude Dinner as soon as possible and by taking this opportunity, to get reunion with your old time classmates and even, with your Fathers and teachers who have taught us to be a whole person. WYK has given us valuable education and now, it is our turn to pay back. For example, you can organize tables for your classes rather than individuals so that more school/class mates will be met to catch up for the old goodies!
In conclusion, please kindly feel free to complete the attached enrollment form in due course and further, I would like to see you also support by making donation as well as putting a “compliment” into our Pamphlet for the night.
Should you have any queries, please kindly feel free to contact me at 9015-5726 or email address at

"We had a gathering today (20140729) to celebrate Mr. Wong Chin Wah's 95th birthday. He looked as energetic as usual. We had a good time with some retired teachers of Wah Yan Kowloon.
After the birthday lunch, we went to see Fr. Naylor. He looked OK but was a bit weak, recovering from a minor stroke. An alumnus was taking him to have a medical appointment at Kwong Wah Hospital.
I am enclosing some photos taken today ." -- Benny Wan ('81)
With the support and presence of some 30 alumni, PSA representatives, current students, parents, teachers and Fathers of the two Wah Yans, the first turf laying process has been smoothly completed this morning.
