Welcome to WYKAAO
Wah Yan College Kowloon is an aided school with a large campus, whole-school small class teaching, a resulting above-standard staff establishment and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. However, the School receives standard rates of government grants as any other aided school, and therefore it needs additional funds to subsidize the repairs of aging school buildings, the replacement of old equipment and furniture by new ones, and educational activities of students especially those under-financed by Government and other sources. The 2012/13 school year marks the 60th anniversary of the Waterloo Road campus, and the School has launched a fundraising campaign.
WYKAAO has been a keen supporter of the campaign and has raised $11,925 HKD so far for the School. Please click the image to read the acknowledgement letter from WYK.
Last Saturday, April 06, a number of Wahyanites together with visiting Phillip Lee (60), LG of Manitoba, and his wife Anita attended the successful Fund-raising screening of “Trailblazers in Habits” for the Maryknoll Sisters who celebrate their Centenary foreign mission. The documentary was well received by the 250 attendants.

Dear Friends, Wahyanites and Classmates,
May I pass the very sad news to you that our beloved Tam Sir has just passed away (early afternoon Friday, March 22) at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Information from a close friend of him is that he has passed away peacefully without much pain. The Organizing Committee of the Cradle Project will keep in contact with Mrs. Tam to see how we can help in arranging Tam Sir's funeral and other related matters. Regards, Yim Pak Kai (72).
