Wai-Ming Li (HKWY 72) and Peter Leung (HKWY 54) organized the happy dinner. Attending were James Tong (65), Eric Yew (62), Matthew Lau (79) and three 71ers.

Laoshis and Shimus as well as the company all had an enjoyable dinner organized by John Chan on November 16.

上週末下午，LA 100 度，與太太到Costco 買家中supplies. 與往常一樣，我開車，太太入店買。她買完之後打電詁我，夫婦一起推車仔搬東西。
停車場滿，要等車位。我坐在冷氣車內，聽童麗的粤語歌，「紅燭淚」。人生在世，我欣賞許多東西，其中一樣，是多情湘女用半咸淡廣東話唱香港歌。
突然，一婦人向我行來。
「先生，你識唔識講中國話？」
「識！乜事？」
我仔細打量她。婦人身段頗好，可惜生半面暗瘡，一棚金姐般的哨牙，甚震憾。

吾妹陳珊珊持雙槍揾食，在加州拿了國粵語翻譯牌照，近日忙得不可開交。
中國人移民美國越來越多，文化衝突不能避免。珊妹告訴法庭內外的即時傳譯，常令哥哥拍案叫絕。前陣子報告：庭外錄證，因為辯護律師問台山佬的夫人是男是女，搞到台山佬立刻騎馬過海。今我又聽奇聞奇事，現與大家分享。
有一地產 case, 港人對陣紅鬚綠眼。雙方都大把水，聘請律師團 deposition. 港人是新界鄉紳後代，自小移民英國讀 grammar school。此人蠱惑佬，眼仔精精小如桂味核，皮光肉白，穿一套 Valentino 黑色西裝,黑襯衫，紫色領帶上绣道士頭像，布鞋。英文甚了得。
